Sandwich shops in downtown Lincoln
There are certainly plenty of them. My three favorites are Highnooners (the avacado on Rye, Wed. and Fri. only), Doozy's (just about anything but the Meatball), and, The Gourmet Grill (the Greek Chicken dinner, Wed. and Fri. only). I like other places too, but these three are close and quick.

Are you familiar with Yelp? It's a great place to share reviews of local businesses. I've contributed a few (reviews and photos) myself.
Highnooners is my favorite. What a great selection! I noticed there was a new Jimmy Johns near South Point Mall but it's called Jimmy Johns Gourmet Sandwiches. Would have never thought of JJ's as very gourmet. Not sure if the one in downtown has the same name or not.
Thanks for the ideas! I have a couple of vegetarian friends I lunch with and these would help. Of course now that you have told us about the Greek Chicken dinner you won't be able to get one yourself :-)
